What happens during the “float mode” of REGENT's Seaglider prototype testing? In the first of the three phases of sea trials, the vessel stays on its hull, reaching speeds of up to 16 kts (18mph), as the team test the rudder, motors, and software. This phase is all about control, reliability, and insight. Next up: foiling!
